Reneé is superb at finding executives their dream roles. Attention to detail, diligence, and expertise, you want her in your corner for tough transitions.
I spent two decades as a technical recruiter before I became a coach, coaching every finalist across the finish line myself, because even the strongest candidate is rarely a natural interviewer. So when I tell you how hiring actually works, it's not a theory. It's how the people on the other side of the table make their decisions.
I'm writing this three weeks into my new job, with a 30% increase in pay. René helped me get here. What's different with René is that she comes from the hiring side. She reframed how I thought about my own experience, helped me see what I actually had, and showed me how to say it. That shift changed how I positioned myself entirely.

More results →Most career coaching runs on the same templates: generic frameworks, interview tips borrowed from a thousand identical sites. It's a commodity, priced and treated like one.
It comes from two decades on the hiring side, sourcing passive candidates who weren't even looking, coaching finalists through their interviews myself, and reading fit before the person across from me could see it themselves. Add ICF coach training on top of that recruiting career, and there's no one else building career strategy from that exact combination.
Not a better version of the same thing. A different thing entirely.
You're qualified. You keep applying anyway, and the interviews aren't coming.
At this level, a real person opens every resume. I've been that person for two decades, so I know exactly what makes someone stop reading.
Most candidates don't know who they are right now, only who they used to be. The resume recites history: a list of what happened, in order, with no read on where it's actually going. There's no clarity on the future from a personal perspective, and nothing tying who they are to the specific role they're aiming for.
On the page, that shows up as a resume that reads like it was written by AI and never touched by the person it's about, a LinkedIn profile that tells a slightly different story than the resume next to it, no sense of the presence or authority the role actually calls for, and technology or language that would have been current five years ago but isn't anymore.
AI can help you write faster. It can't tell you what an experienced recruiter actually notices, or what makes them move to the next file without a second thought. That's still a human judgment call, and it's mine.
Some clients aren't struggling to get seen. They're struggling to decide what to aim for.
Reading where someone actually fits, sometimes before they can see it themselves, is the part of this work I've always done best. Much of my recruiting career was spent finding passive talent, people who weren't even looking, which is where that instinct actually got built.
After watching too many strong candidates spend months and real money rewriting resumes for a direction they hadn't actually chosen yet, I built something to fix the order of operations: the Career Options Map. It's a hiring committee's evaluation process, run on you, before you've committed to a direction. I haven't come across another career coach who builds that into a single working session. Stay an individual contributor or step into management. Go deeper in your current field, or pivot into something adjacent you haven't fully considered. In one session, we lay out the real paths open to your specific background and weigh each one the way a hiring committee actually would.
A wrong direction is expensive: months lost to a misdirected search, or a role you outgrow within a year.
We work with candidates from every background, career stage, and industry, because a great career move isn't limited by title, tenure, or where you started.
From new grad to staff/principal, moving within or into FAANG and FAANG-adjacent companies.
PhDs and industry scientists translating deep technical work into roles at biotech, pharma, and advanced tech companies.
Navigating internal promotion, external moves, or a pivot into tech from another field.
Preparing for board-level and leadership transitions.
Professionals moving from government, academia, federal, or non-tech backgrounds into commercial industry roles.
The core of the work
A five-year plan sounds responsible. Too often it's just speculation wearing a suit. Markets shift, roles change shape, and the "perfect" path mapped out today rarely survives contact with what actually happens next.
I think of the role I play here as closer to a navigator and strategist than a classic career coach: reading the terrain ahead, helping you start moving in the right direction, then adjusting course based on what's actually there, not a script written months in advance. Two decades of watching thousands of careers unfold means I can often see a corner before a client gets to it. Not a crystal ball. Just the same corner, watched a thousand times before.
I've personally closed more than 2,000 hires, from early-stage startups to the Fortune 50, including Amazon and Oracle. Clients typically see compensation gains of 40 to 200 percent, which means the work tends to pay for itself many times over, often within a single search. Those numbers matter, but they're not what I'm proudest of.
I'm proudest that clients come back. Someone I helped land their first engineering role will call again six years later for the next move. I've coached an executive, then his college-age daughter, then two of his friends, all starting from the same conversation. That's what happens when an approach keeps working across a whole career, not just one job search.

René is a career navigator. What sets her apart is her long-term view to help build careers, and not limited by the current job or opportunity at hand. I have worked with René for several years now and so have several friends and family who've all benefitted.

I've never met Rene, but I felt compelled to write a review because she has helped seven people I know get jobs. It's a tough job market out there right now, and as a parent of adult children, we worry when our kids are laid off, mostly because we don't want them to move back in with us. The parents talk, we pass along Rene's information, and I don't know what kind of magic she has, but she gets results. I can't recommend her enough.

Got me a job no joke. I was unemployed for two years and wasn't receiving any more interview requests. I reached out to René in January at the recommendation of several friends. We spent every day for a week talking about what I wanted out of my career, and completely overhauling my resume and LinkedIn page. Almost immediately the interviews came rolling in, and I accepted an offer three months later. Thank you René!
